non-adventures

-much of anything
-find the treasure of the sierra madre (No, it was a bit of grit)
-play wiffle ball (does a wiffle ball make wiffling noises?)
-eat a steamed monkey brain (a la Calvin's mom)
-kick a puppy (Who'd want to?! You sick sick people.)

Now with more cheese

-anything productive
-finish my book (what?! still?!)
-go half crazy (Actually, this is a lie. Kind of.)
-try to add L-space converters into the stock room (though they may have helped. We just don't have enough books, see. Maybe Borders can let us borrow some of their L-Space...)
-trifle with the likes of Tabris. (probably a good plan, if she has likes to be trifled with)
-eat a walrus. (They have a lot of fat, I hear...)

What I didn't do Today (which is very nearly Yesterday).

-Find the long lost city of Atlantis
-Wish upon a star
-Save beautiful monsters from raving princesses
-Go on a quest to find The End.
-Win the 12th Annual Intergalactic Total Smeghead Award. (Not particularly a bad thing!)
-Find the perfect feather for my Rita Skeeter costume (the one I got will have to suffice).

Things that did not happen to me yesterday

I did not find a penny on the ground, nor did get the piece of mail I've been waiting for. I wonder if they have the right address? I haven't been able to finish the book I'm reading, but then I didn't have to take the buses that aren't running right now either.
I didn't eat my vegetables, and a charming prince did not come and swoop me up. How disappointing. But then, the evil queen didn't throw me in her dungeon (and I have to wonder if that would be so bad...) and I wasn't questioned for hours on end by the CIA.
Work was not busy, the floor was not thrashed when we closed, Julie did not completely fail on her first close. I haven't been able to find out if Scientists have created some super being that will eventually take over the Earth. I have a feeling that they're working towards it.
